Embargo Policy

Media are required to abide by the embargo policies governing the TCT scientific symposium.

The embargo policy states that coverage of Late Breaking Clinical Trials or Late Breaking Clinical Registries is strictly prohibited until after the presentation takes place in the Main Arena. These times are listed in the TCT Final Program. No exhibitor or university (or affiliated organization or company) may disseminate information until the official presentation during the scientific symposium has concluded. Coverage of abstracts is strictly prohibited until the start of TCT on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.

Please be advised that any journalist breaking TCT's embargo policies will have his or her press credentials immediately revoked and will not be granted press credentials for future TCT scientific symposium.

Press Room Access

Members of the media with credentialed press badges will have access to the press room during its hours of operation. Additional interview space may be available by appointment only. Please contact the press office for reservations.

Researchers presenting data at a TCT media briefing are permitted to invite a maximum of three (3) company and/or institution representatives to attend that portion of the briefing that relates to their particular study. Guests of media briefing participants may not engage in promotional discussions during the briefings or inside the briefing room.

Public relations representatives of companies exhibiting at TCT will not have access to the press room and are prohibited from soliciting media in the press room. They may, however, call upon the press room staff to help them facilitate media requests. Press and corporate representatives are expected to be respectful of reporters' needs and deadlines. Press room staff will provide a bulletin board where representatives may leave messages for journalists.
