Satellite programs offer sponsors the opportunity to provide professional attendees with comprehensive insights into important interventional topics and issues facing today's interventional specialists. The satellite program schedule is comprised of Breakfast Meetings and Evening Symposia.
Breakfast Meetings
Breakfast Meetings are held at the convention center Wednesday through Saturday of the TCT Week from 7:00 am-8:00 am. A continental breakfast is served beginning
at 6:30 am. Smaller group settings and interactive in nature, Breakfast Meetings on average attract approximately 50-75 attendees. Breakfast meetings may be accredited for continuing medical education (CME) or content may be industry driven, although must be educational in nature. Breakfast Meetings typically have 2-4 speakers.
Evening Symposia
Evening Symposia are conveniently located at hotels in close proximity to the convention center and are held Tuesday through Friday of TCT Week from 8:00 pm-9:30 pm. A cocktail hour or dinner reception may precede the program starting
at 7:00 pm. Larger in scope than Breakfast Meetings, Evening Symposia attract approximately 150-300 attendees and, although not compulsory, are often CME accredited. Evening Symposia generally have 6-8 speakers.
TCTMD Enduring Material
Through the TCTMD Web site, www.tctmd.com, CRF can develop a Web-based education program providing over 70,000 TCTMD subscribers with access to material presented during an Evening Symposium or Breakfast Meeting. The webcast consists of a program specific landing page designed to direct users to the live symposium's themes with information about presenters in addition to slide presentations with synchronized audio that progresses without user intervention.
As part of this enduring materials component, CRF will design and develop the webcast console, record and combine audio and slides from the live symposium, and host the enduring material in the webcasts section of the TCTMD Web site for a period of six months, with longer terms available. TCTMD can also host pre-test, post-test, and evaluation forms for CME accredited programs (additional fees may apply).
TCTMD will promote the enduring materials webcast through advertisements in an edition of the TCTMD weekly electronic newsletter and also distribute a stand-alone e-mail on a mutually agreed upon date during the life of the program.
