Call for Challenging Cases and Complications

Case submission is now closed

Physicians from the United States and around the world are invited to submit their most challenging coronary intervention, endovascular intervention, and structural heart disease cases. We are looking for interesting clinical situations, unique anatomical obstacles, device-specific challenges, management of complications, etc. The TCT directors review each submitted case.

All cases selected as winners of the Challenging Case competition will be presented at TCT. For those winning cases there will be an additional review and selection for the award of Cases of Extraordinary Teaching Value. These cases will be considered provisionally accepted to CCI for online publication.

  • A maximum of two cases may be submitted per physician
  • The case description must be no more than 50 words and typed in an 11-point font
  • If submitting two cases, complete a separate submission form for each case
  • The submission form must be complete
  • Each case must have only one submitting physician
  • Each case must be submitted on a CD-ROM in either DICOM or PowerPoint format with linked AVI or MPEG video files (PowerPoint with descriptive text on each slide is preferred)
