Bringing the TCT Main Arena Directly to You . . . Live!

September, 23-25, 2010

Late Breaking Trials • Live Cases • Featured Lectures

Main Arena Live - Workers in a conference roomTCT Main Arena Live transforms the multimedia experience of the TCT attendee in Washington, DC, into a single video program streamed live over the Internet.

TCT Main Arena Live broadcasts the late breaking trials, live cases, and featured lectures from the world’s preeminent interventional cardiology conference as they happen. From the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC to the convenience of your hospital, cath lab, or conference room, TCT Main Arena Live brings TCT directly to you.

Hospitals, institutions, and companies can now provide live access to TCT to those who could not attend the meeting in person and we are pleased to expand this exciting program to include enhanced individual viewing. Now, every purchase of Main Arena Live not only includes a broadcast to your cath lab or conference room for group participation, it also includes 10 individual licenses so your team can keep up with TCT from the convenience of their home or office.

Overview

The TCT Main Arena Live streaming video will be viewed on a secure Web site using custom software that dynamically selects the highest quality bit-rate stream available for each location, with speeds from 500 Kbps to 1000 Kbps. This Internet stream will originate from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, where the video will be encoded locally and sent to a robust content delivery network where thousands of servers worldwide can ensure smooth delivery.

The streaming video will be offered in standard definition at 4:3 aspect ratio in full-screen mode (the preferred experience for computers connected to a plasma monitor or projector). Please note that due to the live nature of the program, users will not be able to forward, rewind, or pause playback.

The streaming video will follow the TCT 2010 Main Arena schedule on Eastern Daylight Time with an on-demand (delayed) version also available on a reserved basis for locations with time zones offset significantly from Eastern Daylight Time. The live streaming and delayed versions will be identical but with the delayed version offset by 24 hours, eg, Thursday's broadcast would be available Friday (local time) and Friday's broadcast would be available Saturday (local time).

Price: $10,000 per site (includes 10 individual licenses)
