Seeking a comprehensive primer on the essential components of interventional cardiology and endovascular therapy? Taking either the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM) exams? Need to recertify in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease?

This interactive course will include didactic and case presentations, image interpretation, and multiple choice (single best answer) questions to prepare you for your exam or enhance your overall understanding of interventional cardiology and endovascular therapy:

Interventional Cardiology Initial Certification of ABIM (Two Days)
Recertification in Interventional Cardiology Study Modules of ABIM (One Day)
Endovascular Therapy Review: Preparation for the ABVM Exam (One Day)

MOC Learning Sessions

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Learning Sessions and ABIM Interventional Cardiology Simulation Sessions

Includes self-study ABIM medical knowledge modules as well as simulation sessions for earning points towards the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC program. Sign up for the MOC Learning Sessions when registering for TCT. The simulation sessions are supported by Medical Simulation Corp.




A panel of experts will discuss the self-study modules. By the conclusion of this session, you can earn up to 30 credit points. Early registration is strongly recommended since only a limited number of seats will be available.

8:05 am 2007 Update in Interventional Cardiology (10 points)
10:15 am 2008 Update in Interventional Cardiology (10 points)
2:00 pm 2009 Update in Interventional Cardiology (10 points)

Simulation sessions will be offered Monday through Friday (20 points) of TCT week. Register in advance through the ABIM Web site, www.abim.org, Physician Login. On-site registration may be available if there are vacancies in the prearranged schedule.
